Lagos State Government has stressed the need for residents of the state to be at alert at this period owing to the Outbreak of Lassa Fever in the Country. It urged its residents to avoid any contact with rats and store food in rat proof containers as well as cooking their food properly. It further emphasized the importance of Personal Hygiene, Proper waste Disposal and Environmental Sanitation.  The public are also enjoined to report any case or signs of symptoms as soon as possible.
