RELATIONSHIP ADVICE: HELP! I Am In LOVE With My Best Friends EX




 Please Oh! Is there anything wrong to date a friend's ex. The thing is they were in a relationship for a while, the guy was serious about settling down but things didn't really work out cos my friend wanted to take things slow and d guy was bent on getting married soon. So, they eventually broke up and the guy asked me out. It was a mutual agreement between them, she isn't ready for marriage, and she has other long term goals. He feels he is overdue for marriage but she is adamant that it aren't happening anytime soon. 

 Mind you, I am single, ready and willing to settle. Abeg, no be God butter my bread. Now my friend said over her dead body. Help me o, am not getting any younger.
From what she said they aren't ever getting back and he seriously wants to settle down. He is a nice person and even after saying No to him, he keeps on coming back. He is pestering me a lot and I kinda like him but note that I wasn't crushing on him. He just happens to be a good guy and I don't feel it is bad. It's an ex boyfriend not ex husband now.
      I really need to convince and confuse my friend but I don't know how because she keeps calling the guy her boyfriend and doesn't want to let go. I haven't said Yes Yet but am considering it seriously.The only thing is, What if they go Back and start dating again, What would be left of me?

      Well, I Posted this on Nairaland a while back and I got different comments from people. while some like me saw nothing bad in dating a friends ex, some were abused the heck out of me calling me names like husband snatcher and a bad friend. Majority of the guys saw nothing bad in dating a friends ex also, they were of the opinion that my friend is a bad person as she wants nothing good for us both. The logic is that, if she is not interested in the relationship, why waste the guys time. She should allow her friend and ex get-together and if something good comes out of it, then all well and good.

    Hmmmmmm, cool. Well, its no big P. In fact, Ur friends ex is not the end of the world. Sey no be person ni? Abeg ohhh, do whatever Ur heart wishes to do.
